It drives up our gas prices. It drives our grassroots organizations to unite against big business in the name of corporate responsibility. It also drives the buses that take those protestors’ children to school. In Sudan, oil has driven drills deep into Southern soil to further tap this precious resource. In Sudan, oil has driven the development of half the country and the destruction of the other. In Sudan, oil has driven almost four million people out of their homes.
