In this section, I will recognize the gravity of the soldier’s actions in war as well as the patience that is required in the healing process. Next, I will use verses of Nahum 3 to explain details pertaining to PTSD, paying close attention to physical and emotional symptoms which interrupt or undermine relationships with God and others. Finally, I will show the role lament plays within the journey of the soldier suffering from PTSD and other war related challenges, in order to articulate the need for a theological approach to a soldier’s reconciliation with self and others.en-UShttp://rightsstatements.org/vocab/InC/1.0/NahamPost-traumatic stress disorderlamentConfession and Lament in Nahum 3: Journeys of Healing after WarCapstone paper
