The offsets would be generated under the Clean Development Mechanism (CDM) Program of Activities, an emerging modality of the CDM aimed at small-scale green technologies. The program would be coordinated by a Managing Entity, in this case EnergetixClimate, a climate change consulting firm. The market focus for the assessment was base of the pyramid households. The work provided a detailed recommendations for implementing the projects in each country, including the necessary operations for disseminating the technology, financial and market constraints as well as marketing plans. Important insights of our work include the relevance of marketing in the operation of Program of Activities models, and the necessity of innovative greenhouse gas reduction business models to implement the technologies in a large scale.en-USProgrammatic CDMExpansion of the EnergetixClimate Programmatic CDM Portfolio in Mexico, Guatemala and PeruMasters' project
