Kaylee P. Alexander completed her Ph.D. in Art History specializing in nineteenth-century
French visual culture. Under the supervision of Professor Neil McWilliam, Kaylee recently
defended her dissertation, "In Perpetuity: Funerary Monuments, Consumerism and Social
Reform in Paris (1804–1924)." In the dissertation she discusses the production
and market for funerary monuments in nineteenth-century Paris. In doing so, this dissertation
