Abstract
How has the amount, distribution and structure of executive compensation changed over
the past 20 years? What effect, if any, do these factors have on the financial returns
of corporations? Finally, are there any clear actions that should be taken to alter
executive compensation practices? Who, if anyone, should enact these changes?
