Abstract
This study was conducted to test how users refined their searches as well as how they started new searches from an existing search in the Duke University Libraries catalog. In addition, it explored user conceptualizations of the catalog, evaluated user navigation paths, and provided recommendations for future changes and further testing. The study was developed and conducted by Erin Black and Cami Goray with guidance by Thomas Crichlow.
