Abstract
The goal of this visualization was to examine the geographic spread of collaborations represented in the scholars@duke dataset. The goal of the Scholars@Duke Visualization Challenge was to create visualizations that capture the richness and dynamism of Duke research. The datasets were provided by Scholars@Duke (https://schoalrs.duke.edu/) and they describe publications, authorships, and scholarly collaborations from university researchers over the past 5 years.

David Bradway
David P. Bradway is a research scientist in the Biomedical Engineering Department at Duke University. He earned his Ph.D. in biomedical engineering in 2013 from Duke. Afterward, he was a guest postdoc at the Technical University of Denmark (DTU), supported by a Whitaker International Program Scholarship. He has conducted research internships at the Cleveland Clinic Foundation, Volcano Corporation, and Siemens Healthcare, working on ultrasound research since 2002.
