Abstract
Sudden death in a young competitive athlete occurs with a prevalence of approximately 1 per 100,000 athletes per year [2, 3]. Despite its rarity, the sudden death of an athlete is devastating to both the family and community. © 2011 Springer Science+Business Media, LLC.
