George Nathanail
Georgios (George) Nathanail is a Ph.D. student researching Ottoman and Greek history (1500-1922). His research interests include the social, economic, and political history of the Ottoman Empire and its minorities. In particular, he is interested in slavery, race, religion, and law in the 18th and 19th centuries in the Ottoman Empire, the Greek Revolution, the history of the monasteries in the Ottoman Balkans, family history, and Ottoman paleography.
