Abstract

In this thesis, I have presented the design, implementation, and deployment of a labcontrol system built on top of ARTIQ to address the complex workflow of quantum exper- iments. The core of this system is a newly redesigned Sequence Parser, which translates user- defined Excel spreadsheet sequences directly into compiled ARTIQ experiment routines. By automating the generation of ARTIQ scripts, the Sequence Parser eliminates the need for manual programming. Building upon this foundation, additional tools are being developed to automate and streamline the workflow. Furthermore, the system is extended to integrate the Hamamatsu Orca Quest 2 camera. Custom camera software was developed to interface with the camera to interact with the Arbitrary Waveform Generator (AWG) to perform experiments such as creating defect-free atom arrays. Finally, a component library was developed to ensure all custom interfaces share the same reusable UI widgets and logic.
