dc.description.abstract | The shift towards decarbonization is a long-term secular trend, with profound implications on how we interact with the world. To put it into perspective, over 140 countries and 4,300 public companies have committed to achieving net zero, a significant increase from just a few years ago. The appetite for investment in climate-oriented strategies has grown alongside company and country commitments. Assets under management (AUM) in climate strategies have expanded exponentially from $93 billion in 2018 to $573 billion in 2023. However, up to this point most climate-oriented public equity funds have not invested in companies where the opportunity is greatest - in the “picks and shovels” of the energy transition. These companies are enabling the world to meet net zero commitments by offering products, services and mature technologies that reduce greenhouse gas (GHG) emissions. The Masters Project’s objective is to assist ScopeFour in identifying and targeting the right audience for client acquisition by developing a comprehensive marketing communications plan. In addition to establishing key messaging, the plan also identifies an effective communications and content strategy across media channels. The project culminates in a timeline and budget to determine metrics for success. | |
