| dc.description.abstract | Although it is generally well-known that smoking poses numerous risks to physical health and well-being, it carries additional risks for patients with cancer. Therefore, smoking cessation is of particular concern among this patient population. At the NCCN 2025 Annual Conference, a panel convened to discuss the current evidence surrounding smoking-associated risks for patients with cancer, the benefits of smoking cessation specific to them, and evidence-based approaches to improve rates of smoking cessation. | |
