Abstract
<jats:p>This Viewpoint discusses the importance of evidence-based dietary guidelines for the health of children and adolescents, summarizes the strengths of the 2025-2030 Dietary Guidelines for Americans as well as concerns and challenges, and suggests government policy actions needed from the perspective of pediatric health care professionals and researchers.</jats:p>
