TRLN Discovery No Results Page Usability Test - October 2018

Abstract

Erin Black and Cami Goray, graduate research assistants in the Assessment & User Experience Department, conducted a usability test on the Triangle Research Libraries Network (TRLN) catalog’s No Results page on October 10, 2018 from 10:30 am – 1:30 pm. The testing took place in the common area outside of The Perk coffee shop in Perkins Library. The test consisted of a short set of background questions and five total tasks, including a circle mapping exercise and an open sort labeling activity.
