Abstract
<jats:p>A lo largo de la edad media, Cupido fue objeto de diversas modificaciones específicamente en lo que respecta a su ethos y a su aspecto. En Francia, especialmente a partir del siglo XII, el dieu d’amours devino en un significativo objeto literario para reflexionar acerca del amor humano. Un análisis de la Epistre au dieu d’Amours de Christine de Pizan, sustentado por la mitografía medieval de Cupido, y en especial con su par del Roman de la Rose, podrá arrojar luz sobre el sentido de estas modificaciones y sobre el status de la mitología hacia fines de la Edad Media.</jats:p>
