Abstract
The purpose of our research was to evaluate the prosthetic acceptance of below elbow limb deficient toddlers. The prosthetist, occupational therpist and caregivers were found to play major roles in the success of prothetic use. Conclusions were drawn from prosthetic and occupational therapy clinical observations, the University of New Brunswick Test of Prosthetic Function and a subjective parent survey.
