Abstract

International politics dominate every interaction occurring at an international film festival. The Cannes Film Festival as well as the Pusan International Film Festival each offer unique aspects of international politics based on their locations, France and South Korea, respectively. But beyond location, international politics are a huge aspect of the environment of both festivals and a main factor in their existence.
