Starting in December 2016, Julie Riegel researched multiple tools that could perform remote unmediated A/B tests in order to recommend a tool for the AUX department to use to perform unmediated remote A/B tests on the library’s website. After narrowing the choices to Optimizely and Hotjar, Julie and Tom Crichlow created a remote unmediated A/B pilot test to better understand how each tool would work the Duke Libraries’ context.
